Wow, what an experience I have had the last month and half. I have joined the DevExec Team thinking that it would take some time for me to start seeing some real results. I came into this job planning and thinking about all the strategies that I believe will work with just about any company. The difference is this is the first company that was willing to listen to my ideas. I started implementing my concepts and started seeing real results. The results have outweighed my expectations. I have found my home: the place I feel safe to be who I need to be, and achieve what I have always been destined to achieve.
Justin Kotze – Success Manager
I don’t think I have ever worked with a product that has such a broad appeal to corporate South Africa. If I manage to paint the picture in the heads of the people that I talk to, they always see very interested in what it could do for them. Now I don’t always get a meeting with the right people in each of the companies I talk to. But once I have a meeting I know that my job is 70% done. Not only I am I confident in our product, but I am also confident that we have a team here that can truly customize the current framework to our client’s needs. This means that I am Successful in every single meeting I go to. The level of success is the only thing that differs.
The biggest issue I have found in my market to date is battling perceptions. Firstly, people don’t know the Communications act of 2005. (For those of you who don't know what this means, feel free to call me 087 80 90 300.) We have to educate clients on the effects this act has on business. Secondly, even when digitally captured, they don’t feel completely comfortable discarding the irrelevant documents. This could mean that potential are not aware the full capacity of our system.
One of these days the sky is going to break.
One of these days the mountains will fall into the sea.
These are some of the words of a song that epitomizes the mood at DevExec. We are a company made of people that all believe in ourselves and what we are doing. We have created some great products, but more importantly we are creating products that will blow the minds of the IT community.
We were built for this.
From the outside we look like a simple little company. With a future that is uncertain. Regardless of your perception of us, we are so much more. Once we are done, then the sky will break, and we will throw some mountains into the sea. And You, will know.

World cup fever has hit our country with dramatic effect. There is an air of anticipation, for something that no person in our country can truly say they have experienced. Regardless of all the potential negativity that is out there, Hosting a world event is a great honour. In our country there has been many occasions that have brought us together as a nation, and I believe potentially this could be one of the biggest.
The slogan that is driving all this is one that arouses a feeling of participation in a moment in history that can change the face of this country: I was there. This is a powerful statement that will drive the development of this country for many years to come.
I was there, when Devexec made it. I was there, when Devexec changed the face of IT. I was there, when Devexec broke the seal that opened the world.
There is a slogan that drives each individual that works in this company even more than only being there.
I participated, because I am Devexec.
I had my first business when I was 10. Some would say I was a born capitalist. I had my first Idealistic moment when I was 19. Some would have said I had converted. But I believe that both can survive in the same space, as I am a testament to that. My drive to succeed now is fuelled not only by the passion of being a winner, rather it’s fuelled by the notion that I will be empowered to live out my idealistic dreams.
DevExec is anchored by the ideals of being a company that will mean something in this world. A company that will affect the human race in a positive way. Being a dreamer with an idealist on the inside, for motivation, and a capitalist on the outside, for direction, I know that we have the ability to achieve great things.
